Husson-Dumoutier was born in France in Provence. International artist, now in many museums and major collections worldwide, the painter and sculptor is truly innovative and interested in the great themes of Humanity. Traveling around the world, Husson-Dumoutier is also full of scenery, lights and attendance, as cities and temples have inspired him. Lover of poetry, he feels and expresses the intimacy of poets he regularly reads, such as Rimbaud, Schiller, Goethe, Lorca and Pablo Neruda. Sociologist, Husson-Dumoutier is a tireless researcher.

Husson-Dumoutier brings, the mystic chords of light, out in the shadows and objects made from sand, and pure pigments. He finds them in different countries of the world he s visits. His career is prolific and he multiplies approaches in different techniques. As a sculptor he worked crystal to the hammer.
Technician also of sound and light Alain Husson-Dumoutier created his first phonosensitive painting in 1981. In the center of the surgace, an area reacts to treble and midrange sounds. The parts at the top and bottom react to others. The painting or sculpture react to all sounds and music by following the variations in all their nuances. Let the eye listen.

Several works of this type are present in public and private international collections, Including the General Council of the Oise and the library of Sevres.
In 1996, UNESCO asked to carry out two trophies sculptures, one of which is part of the permanent collection of UNESCO, the other being intended as a trophy to Madanjeet Singh Prize for Tolerance and Nonviolence . This is the beginning of a long collaboration between the artist and the international organization which appointed him in 1999, UNESCO Artist for Peace.
In 1999 he exhibited at UNESCO “Northern wind,” over 137 paintings made from a book of poems written by Federico Mayor, Director General of UNESCO at that time. This book is coauthored Federico Mayor and Alain Husson-Dumoutier.
In 2004, pursuing research on monotheism, he wishes to convey his pictorial and artistic vision of the religious texts of the Holy books: the Torah, the New Testament and the Koran. In 2006 he represented the French Painting in Sarajevo to mark the 10th anniversary of the Dayton peace accords. In 2007 he presented to the Senate in Paris and the Museum of the Thirties at Boulogne / Seine: Egypt and the Three Holy Books, more than 200 paintings. On this occasion, a book phonosensible called The Three Holy Books for Peace, prefaced by Koichiro Matsuura, Director-General of UNESCO, is published by LB Story.

In June 2010 a major exhibition on the soul of the Mediterranean is made at the request of the municipality in St. Tropez. Over 300 works were presented, paintings and sculptures on monotheism.

In 2014, After seven years of interviews and artistic work ,the exhibition of “The survivors of the Holocaust Courage, Will, Life “ is presented at the UNESCO headquarters with 37 figurative, symbolic or illustrative portraits. The official work has been prefaced by Irina Bokova Director General of UNESCO and a bilingual catalogue is issued.
