Since 1979, Jenssens works are regularly presented in numerous solo exhibitions mainly in Germany and in the art capitals of Scandinavia, including, for example, Oslo, Copenhagen, Stockholm and Helsinki. Besides, his participation in the documenta IX introduced the artist to an international audience in 1992. In addition to painting, the artist has also developed an extensive oeuvre of drawings. Moreover, sculptures and site-specific works form a further part of his artistic activity.
