A communist propaganda poster that praises the soldier Jie Wang. Drawn by Shan Gao. Published by People's Art Press in Beijing. 1966 first edition and first printing. Poster measures 75.5cm x 52cm. The first image from the left shows Jie Wang studies Chairman Mao's works whenever he gets a moment, even when he is injured. The second image shows he practises the skill of burying mines in thick snow and harsh winds at night in order to be an excellent trainer. On the third image, Jie Wang is bravely saving building materials in a flash mountain flood. The fourth image shows him helping an elderly. He regards himself as a "people's servant".
