Property from the Estate of Jeannie Sims, Savannah, GA and Charleston, SC Description: Sidney Yates Johnson (British, fl. 1901-1910), Pair of Still Life Paintings of Fruit, 1903, Oil on Canvas, both signed lower right, one dated, still life paintings of fruit, one with pineapple, the other with flowers and a bird's nest with eggs, both in giltwood frames. Frame size: 18 1/8 in. x 30 1/4 in. Measurements: Height: by sight, 11 3/8 in. x Width: 23 1/2 in. Condition: Overall good condition, pineapple painting with old water damage to verso at upper right edge with corresponding warping to canvas with some small losses to paint along edge and another small loss upper left corner, nest painting with rubbing along right edge. Frames with wear, small losses and some repairs.
