Originaltitel In leuchtend kräftigen Farben und ausdrucksstarkem, pastosem Duktus das abstrakte Gemälde ganz im Stile der späteren Werke Erich Kahns, dessen Oeuvre zunächst spätexpressionistisch geprägt war und ab den 1950er Jahren zunehmend abstrakter wurde. Aufgrund seiner jüdischen Herkunft emigrierte Kahn 1939 nach England, wo er sich nach dem Krieg dauerhaft niederließ. 1989 zeigte die John Denham Gallery in London eine große Retrospektive des Stuttgarter Künstlers. Öl/Masonitplatte; Verso betitelt (von fremder Hand?) sowie mit Etikett der Galerie John Denham London. 51 cm x 61 cm. Rahmen. Attributed to Erich Kahn (1904rt - 1980). Oil on masonite panel. Inscripted with title and label of the John Denham Gallery London on the reverse.
