A studio painter who utilizes all mediums from traditional watercolor, to acrylics, to oil paint, he is also a plein-air painter as well as a studio artist. He has traveled the globe painting the landscapes of not only othercountries, but also the terrain of people's faces and human figures. His unique color combinations, wet-in-wet techniques, and exquisite ability with "negative space" painting, demonstrate a soul who is deeply gifted in"seeing" in visionary ways that which reminds us to remember the violet haze around the red willows at the river, the wild blue cast to the snow's shadows, the lick of yellow light at the place where a cobalt sky meets black land at night.Kaplinski continues to teach, travel and paint. Like most artists who are dedicated to a higher source, translating the mystery of beauty is his life's work.~~ DEAR BIDDERS, Please View More Detailed Close-Up Images by visiting our website - Sofedesignauctions.com ~ Thank you ! ~~~~~~.
