    Thomas Kellner, "Berlin Potsdamer Platz" & "Nikolaikirche Siegen", 2 signierte C-Prints Thomas Kellner, *1966 Bonn, deutscher Fotograf, Dozent und Kurator, hier: "Berlin Potsdamer Platz" in der Bauphase, C-Print aus 35 Einzelaufnahmen konzipiert, 10 x 15 cm, unter P.partout, sign. u. dat. 1998 & "Nikolaikirche Siegen", C-Print aus 36 Einzelaufnahmen zu einem "kubistischen" Ensemble neu zusammengesetzt, 13,5 x 7,5 cm, unter P.partout, sign. u. dat. 2001 Thomas Kellner wurde vor allem durch seine Fotos von berühmten Baudenkmälern bekannt, die durch viele Einzelbilder und eine verschobene Kameraperspektive wie „Foto-Mosaiken“ wirken. Wenn Kellner sich ein Projekt vornimmt, fertigt er vorher Skizzen an, indem er das zu fotografierende Objekt dafür in quadratische Abschnitte einteilt und sich die geplanten Kameraeinstellungen für jeden Abschnitt notiert. Beim tatsächlichen Fotografieren des Objekts können dann zwischen dem ersten und dem letzten Bild einer Rolle mehrere Stunden liegen, da Kellner chronologisch nacheinander weg fotografiert Thomas Kellner, "Berlin Potsdamer Platz" & "Nikolaikirche Siegen", 2 signed C-prints Thomas Kellner, *1966 Bonn, German photographer, lecturer and curator, here: "Berlin Potsdamer Platz" in the construction phase, C-print conceived from 35 individual photographs, 10 x 15 cm, under passepartout, sign. u. dated. 1998 & "Nikolaikirche Siegen", C-print reassembled from 36 individual photographs to form a "cubist" ensemble, 13.5 x 7.5 cm, under passepartout, signed and dated. 2001 Thomas Kellner became known above all for his photographs of famous monuments, which appear like "photo mosaics" due to the many individual images and a shifted camera perspective. When Kellner takes on a project, he makes sketches beforehand, dividing the object to be photographed into square sections and making a note of the planned camera settings for each section. When actually photographing the object, there can be several hours between the first and last image of a roll, as Kellner photographs away chronologically one after the other
