Janet Kenyon is famous for the way she captures natural and artificial light creating distinctive cityscape and landscape paintings which are highly sough after internationally.

She has twice won the prestigious Sunday Times/Smith & Williamson Cityscape painting of the Year award in 2009 and in 2016! The Sunday Times Watercolour competition is the largest and most prestigious watercolour competition in the UK.

She was born in 1959 and raised in Bolton, Lancashire, attending Bolton College of Art & Design and then gaining a BA Hons in Graphic Design at Leeds Polytechnic. It was here that she developed and experimented with her chosen watercolour medium.

Over the course of her career she has received numerous awards and she has exhibited her work in many leading galleries, particularly in London and Scotland.

Her original paintings are hard to find and 'Broad Street Oxford' is a superb example of her work with a multitude of moon light and street and shop lights creating a stunning effect at one of Oxford's most famous city streets.

It's also a good size image at 51 x 72cm and comes in a stunning contemporary black and silver edged frame measuring 87.5 x 108cm.
