Alexis KEUNEN - Belgian, born in Liège in 1921-1989. Surrealist Belgian artist, friend of René Magritte.

Alexis Keunen is at the center of his attention to his destiny. He holds the proper means to locate his inner concentration on objects which gives him his metaphysical or poetic chances. There is a qualification of the space that in his paintings suggests that the "existing" object is also called out of existence to mean and to be. We are in a universe where things answer each other out of the logic of their material substance.
