Throughout the 1970s and 1980s his art supported his political activism; however, his propaganda and support gave way to satire and criticism as the reality of the revolution’s aftermath departed from his more optimistic vision. Khosrojerdi is now London based, living and working in exile with his family. Khosrojerdi's art steps away from the traditional Eastern focus on aesthetics and deals more with concept. His experiences inform his work and the turbulence of his life is reflected in the evolution of his works, the range of practices and his ever-progressing subject matter.
