      Bruce Killen (1937-2012) Nesting Pintail Bronze Sculpture. Bruce was very well-known in the West Coast for his superior craftsmanship of bronze sculptures. Bruce was a renowned sculptor and endeavored to give honor to the wildlife that inspired him. Living life to the fullest, any day could find Bruce riding one of his motorcycles down the back roads of Southern Oregon, fishing along the Rogue, or enjoying the wildlife with his grandsons. Bruce grew up in Minnesota, joined the Navy serving as a medic and eventually moved to Medford, Oregon with his wife Elaine where they raised their three children. Bruce was a life member of several conservation and hunting groups, including RMEF, often donating his art for their fundraising auctions. He was an advocate for protecting the Foothill Roosevelt elk herd, which lived around his Dry Creek Road home. Bruce’s spectacular wildlife sculptures can be found in prominent collections and museums across the world.
