Leslie Kingsley was born on the island of Tasmania. He was awarded a high distinction upon graduating from the University of Tasmania.

Leslie's love of the natural world, inclination towards spiritual introspection, and his dedication to painting and drawing have been evident since early childhood.

He has successfully exhibited in London, New York, Los Angeles, Washington, Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne. Often described as a unique synthesis of material and spiritual beauty, his work is represented in collections throughout Europe, North America, South Africa, Australia, Japan, korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Sri Lanka.

Leslie's raison d'etre is to depict the beauty of the spirit behind nature in such a way that the painted image vibrates on a spiritual level so that other minds may be lifted to it - as a vibrating string will cause other strings, similarly tuned, to resonate that pitch.
