Marie Kirschner (Marie Louisa Kirschnerová) - česko-německá výtvarnice období secese, ve svých návrzích předjímala již i formy funkcionalismu. V letech 1870-1871 studovala u A. Liera v Mnichově, poté odešla do Paříže, kde k jejím pedagogům patřili např. J. Dupré a A. Stevens. Zpočátku se věnovala malbě, později obrátila svou pozornost k užitému umění, především ke sklářské tvorbě. Zařizovala domy bohatých průmyslníků, jako byli např. Sie­mens či Stollwerck, roku 1904 získala za návrh pokoje stříbrnou medaili na světové výstavě v St. Louis. Srov. G.
