Information on the artist is on the back of the piece. Titled 'Gallo Da Paixao' (which translates to Passion Rooster) and date 1989. Proceeds from this sale will benefit students at the Ringling College of Art & Design. Overall Size: 36 x 28 in.  Sight Size: 30 1/4 x22 1/2 in.  #8170 .  Carlos Kis is from Uruguay and known for painting and sculpting. Rooster imagery is seen frequently in his work. His formica paintings were an extremely laborious process and the media has not been used by other artists other than that of his daughter Anita, under Kis's supervision.
