Jean-Michel KIWI

Painter born in Herstal in 1939 and active in Liège. Author of views of cities, streets, rivers, seascapes, and the mystery constantly renewed Venice becoming a postmodern theater during the carnival. Hyperrealistic style sometimes close to the trompe l'oeil. His production, characterized by a mastery of technique, is loaded with subtlety and emotions. The light, the colors, the well-defined outlines, the characters and above all the architectural views combine to give this grand impression of eternity that so permeates the viewer.
