red Klepich was born in Flat Iron, South Dakota on May 25, 1915. Using the mediums of oil, watercolor, woodcuts, and lithography, he is known for his landscapes and images of the Monterey Peninsula. Klepich studied at the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Bellas Artes, San Miguel Allende in Mexico. His works have been exhibited widely in the United States and Mexico. An award winner in many of the venues in which he exhibited his works, Fred Klepich was a long time artist member of the prestigious Carmel Art Association. For many years Klepich was the owner of the SAS (Studio Art Supplies) Gallery in Carmel, California. He died in Red Lodge, Montana on September 20, 1980.
