    13 Signed Gam Klutier Drawings in Portfolio Sketchbook. A sketchbook from Gam Klutier (Dutch, b.1946) containing thirteen of his drawings, signed and dated, 1997 in Peru. Containing dream-like characters of human, animal and anthropomorphic form, possibly studies for Klutiers larger works. Interior page of book is signed "gam klutier, Lima, April 7th '97." Individual pages are signed in an abbreviated manner with a 'K" and a number. Dimensions are 11 in h x 15 in w x 0.25 in d. Condition is very good with wear to edges and bumped corners. Please call or email for a detailed condition report. Estimado $ 200,000-300,000 GAM KLUTIER (Delft, Holanda, 1946 - ) Sin título Firmado y fechado 2017 Lima al reverso Acrílico sobre tela Exhibido en: "Arte Viva", muestra presentada en la Celda Contemporánea de la Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana de octubre a diciembre del 2017. Nació en Holanda pero creció y se formó artísticamente en Perú, país que adoptó como su segunda patria. Su estilo artístico inició siendo conceptualista, pero cuando llegó a Perú sus influencias estéticas cambiaron, comenzó a utilizar la metafísica como base principal de su obra. Poco a poco sus pinturas representaron paisajes mentales inspirados en ideas de un mundo no físico, pero sí con símbolos reales. Creó un mundo espiritual con elementos que no se pueden transmitir a través del lenguaje, únicamente mediante el arte, apoyado por formas simples y pocos colores. "Me gusta trabajar con el blanco y el negro porque dan a la obra una expresión muy fuerte, como si pensaran en los mundos que están afuera. También hay en ellos cierta naturaleza. Yo soy daltónico, para mí los colores son limitados y trabajo con amarillo, azul, dorado, plateado, blanco y negro porque además son la escala que controlo.
