In erster Linie mit seinen Porträtstichen erfolgreich, erhielt er den Titel eines kaiserlichen Hofkupferstechers. Als Zeichenlehrer durfte er die Kaisergemahlin Maria Theresia zu seinen Schülerinnen zählen. Ganz ausgezeichneter Druck mit schmalem Rändchen um die Plattenkante.
