His work "Nude on the terrace" from 1972 reflects his typical work, which often drew inspiration from the atmosphere of Mediterranean landscapes, which he enriched with motifs of intimacy and the human body. In this painting we see the traditional theme of the act set outside, specifically on a terrace overlooking the sea. The work draws attention to the play of light, which gently models the figure of a woman, while at the same time emphasizing the picturesque scenery in the background. Kohout's works were characterized by their bright tones and a delicate expressive style, characterized by an emphasis on detail and composition.
