As early as 1910, she attended Franz Čižek's famous drawing courses. From 1914 to 1918, Koller studied at the School of Applied Arts in Vienna with Adolf Böhm, Rudolf von Larisch and Koloman Moser. In 1921 Koller moved to Berlin and continued her studies with Carl Hofer. In 1924, she went to Geneva to see Alexandre Blanchet and from there to Paris. In 1937, Koller returned to her parents' home in Oberwaltersdorf to care for her sick father and subsequently withdrew from the art world. It was not until 1953 that she took part in courses at the Salzburg Summer School, which were led by Oskar Kokoschka. Koller's preferred subjects were landscapes, vedute, portraits, still lifes and animal depictions. PLEASE NOTE: The purchase price consists of the highest bid plus the buyer's premium, sales tax and, if applicable, the fee of artists resale rights. In the case of normal taxation (marked °), a premium of 24% is added to the highest bid. The mandatory sales tax of 13%, for photographs 20%, is added to the sum of the highest bid and the buyer's premium. The buyer's premium amounts to 28% in case of differential taxation. The sales tax is included in the differential taxation.

      "Junge Frau" Öl auf Hartfaserplatte. 1924. 71 x 71 cm. Oben links mit Pinsel in Schwarz signiert "S. Koller" und datiert, verso abermals signiert, betitelt und mit der Wiener Künstleradresse. Die Bildkomposition klar durchdacht, die Farben aufeinander wohl abgestimmt und gedeckt, die Auffassung der Dargestellten nüchtern – so präsentiert Koller die junge Frau. Ihr Blick, die einzig direkte Aufforderung an den Betrachter, ist außergewöhnlich durchdringend. Die Formensprache Kollers lässt das bedeutende Vorbild Carl Hofer unverkennbar werden. 1921-1924 studierte sie bei ihm in Berlin.
