Yvonne Komlenovich Art for Sale at Auction

Yvonne Komlenovich - I have been a Scarborough resident since 1970 and have been painting for many years. My medium of choice is oil but I also paint in acrylic and watercolour. I love painting landscapes and most of my paintings are done on location (plen-air) at various locations throughout Ontario, Scarborough, Peterborough, Belleville and Tweed, to name a few. I have painted as far north as Algonquin Park, and as far west as Georgian Bay. I also paint portraits, flowers and the occasional still life. Although painting is my passion, I do not try to make any particular statement with my art. I paint for relaxation and for the pure joy of seeing what can be achieved with paint and brush on a blank two-dimensional canvas.

I am an active member of The Art Guild of Scarborough (since 1977), East Central Ontario Art Association (ECOAA) since 1982, Pine Ridge Arts Council and Cedar Ridge Creative Centre.
