He applies a mixing technique of paint and real sheets of music on canvas. The art of Koupetsian shows influenced of Cubism, like Pablo Picasso and George Braque. Koupetsian aims at visualizing the rhythm of music into a visual composition – very well visible in this piece, that is dedicated to the Spanish guitar player Paco de Lucia and reflects the characteristic metric of Flamenco music.
