George Kozmon Art for Sale and Sold Prices

GEORGE KOZMON, an internationally collected artist, is best known for his monumental paintings which have been widely exhibited and critically acclaimed throughout the US and abroad.

He is the recipient of numerous awards including The National Endowment For The Arts Individual Artist Fellowship, and four Ohio Arts Council Grants. His resume reflects over 30 solo exhibitions in commercial, academic and institutional venues, and over 100 two- person, invitational, or group shows.

Mr. Kozmon’s work is represented in prestigious public and private collections including the Cleveland Museum of Art, (Cleveland, OH), the Akron Art Museum (Akron OH), Hyatt Regency (Cologne, Germany), IBM (Armonk, NY), the Butler Institute of American Art (Youngstown, OH), Astor Residence Hotel (London, England), and the Progressive Collection, (Cleveland OH).

Commissioned projects include Halliburton Corporate Hq. (Houston, TX), Key Corp. (Cleveland OH), Turner Construction Co. (Columbus, OH), Ungerer GmbH (Pforzheim, Germany). The Cleveland Clinic (Cleveland, OH), Marriott Corp. (Arlington MD), and 12 large-scale works for the Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal, (2013, Abu Dhabi, UAE).

A notable endeavor was Cloudscape; an ambitious 8ft. x 80ft. (2.4m x 24.4m) canvas commissioned by IngenuityFest 2013, painted as a live on-site performance for the premier international art and technology event in Ohio.


As well as being a full-time artist, Mr. Kozmon also engages in various cultural engagements. Launched in 2015, Project Gx2, a collaborative partnership with artist Guy-Vincent, is an art-advocacy project, a video series focused on conversations giving voice to international art leaders who facilitate/communicate contemporary art to an audience, including gallerists, curators, collectors, and art fair directors.

He also writes essays and articles, teaches, lectures, curates exhibitions for various institutions, and serves on several non-profit boards.
