Kurt Kranz 1910 Emmerich - 1997 Wedel - "Einschlüsse" - Kasein/Hartfaser. 71,5 x 134,5 cm. Rückseitig betit., bez., sign., ortsbez. und dat.: "Einschlüsse" / Kasein (...) / Kurt Kranz / Hamburg 1960. Daneben auf Galerieetikett (Galerie Meißner, Hamburg) bez. Rahmen. Deutscher Maler und Grafiker, der auf Empfehlung von László Moholy-Nagy Bauhausschüler in Dessau und später in Berlin wurde. Unterrichtet wurde er u. a. von Paul Klee und Wassily Kandinsky. Nach dem 2. Weltkrieg wurde Kurt Kranz an die Hochschule der Bildenden Künste in Hamburg berufen.

Wohl in geringer Auflage erschienenes Künstlerbuch des Malers und Graphikers (1910-1997), der am Bauhaus studierte und kurz vor dessen Schließung mit einem Diplom dort abschloss. Er gilt als einer der wichtigsten "letzten" Schüler des Bauhauses und war u. a. Schüler von Josef Albers. "Ruth" bietet durch die geteilten Seiten zahllose motivische Kombinationsmöglichkeiten und lässt je nachdem, ob man zwei, vier oder sechs Felder öffnet, sogar verschiedene Formate zu. Von Kurt Kranz betitelt, datiert und signiert. - Tafellos erhalten.
