August Krasa is Austrian, was born in Vienna on February 18, 1946 and has lived in the Frankfurt area since 1976.

At the age of 14, August Krasa drew his first nudes and portraits in the studio of his painter friends and role models in Vienna. Before he even started his studies, he started working in the style of the "Fantastic Realists of the Vienna School". After studying painting and graphics at the renowned art academy in Vienna, he quickly left this phase, the psychological turn of the inside outwards, and, in addition to his artistic work as an illustrator, successfully worked as an art and creative director in international for several years Advertising agencies, to then focus on portrait painting again. August Krasa does not paint portraits that do not go beyond the simplicity of simple images.
