        (1801 Antwerpen - 1888 ebenda) Flämische Marktszene im Goldenen Zeitalter Szene aus dem 17. Jh. mit einer jungen Dame an einem Stand mit Geflügel und Wildtieren. In fein lasierender Malerei ausgeführtes Genrebild Kremers, der an der Antwerpener Akademie bei Mattheus Ignatius van Bree und Willem Jacob Herreyns studierte. Er wurde von der niederländischen und flämischen Barock-Malerei inspiriert und malte mit Vorliebe historisierende Szenen und Genremotive aus dem 16./17. Jh.; Öl/Eichenholztafel. R. u. sign. u. dat. (18)59 mit Ortsangabe Anvers (Antwerpen). 73 cm x 56,5 cm. Rahmen. Oil on oak panel. Signed and dated 1859 with location "Anvers" (Antwerp).

        JUNGER JÄGER BEI DER VESPERRAST Öl auf Holz. 49,5 x 44 cm. Rechts unten signiert. Der jugendliche Jäger in grüner Jacke mit weißem Hemdkragen sitzt auf einem lederbezogenen Lehnstuhl und erhebt ein Rotweinglas, das er lächelnd betrachtet, in seiner linken Hand ein bauchiger Krug sowie eine Meerschaumpfeife. Links neben ihm ein Jagdhund neben Flinte und abgelegtem Hut. Im Vordergrund erlegtes Geflügel. Delikat und stillebenhaft auch die auf dem Tisch rechts liegende Zinnplatte mit Austern mit daneben stehendem Kohlebecken und dahinter hochziehendem Malvenblütenstrauch vor einem Steinpfeiler mit von Figuren getragenem Brunnenbecken. Detailreiche, höchst meisterliche Darstellung, deren Stil sich an den Altmeistern wie Gerrit van Honthorst orientiert. (861538)
