Painted 1903.4 With Tokyo Bijutsu Club certificate no. 001-448, 2001.7.25 NOTES Tsuda Seifu (1880-1978) was a Western-style oil painter who went to France with Yasui Sotaro in 1907 to study with Paul Laurens for three years. He later painted in Japanese (Nihonga) style. Another painting by Kuroda Seiki, Fields, was sold in these Rooms, 15 September 1999, lot 260.
