      Alicia Henning Laird (fl. circa 1840s to 1860s). An original oil painting on paper. Titled, "Louis A., Alice, Aurelia, and Olga Hertz," produced 1856. A figural group depicting seating children in a family portrait. Hand written to verso with title and notation PAINTED BY ALICIA H LAIRD GLASGOW 1856. Presented in a custom fitted frame with a fabric border, leather backing, and carved wood elements with extensive gold leaf bullion embellishments. Dimensions: 11.5 X 9.25 X 1 in. Condition: Good overall condition, work having normal age related surface wear with upward bend to center. Frame having moderate to heavy wear. Estate fresh to the market.
