Certificate of authorship included. 9.5 x 11.5 cm EUGENIO LANDESIO (ITALIA, 1810-1879) PAISAJE CON CASCADA EN EL ESTADO DE VERACRUZ Óleo sobre el papel reciclado del borrador de un libro manuscrito por el mismo Landesio (puede verse al reverso). Incluye un dictamen de María Elena Altamirano Piolle, de 2012. Detalles de conservación. 9.5 x 11.5 cm Landesio llegó a México en 1855, invitado por su amigo Pelegrín Clavé, a ocuparse de la clase de paisaje y perspectiva en la Academia de San Carlos, inaugurando así una de sus mejores épocas, considerada como un renacimiento de la misma. Fueron sus discípulos Luis Coto, José Jiménez, Javier Álvarez, Gregorio Dumaine, Salvador Murillo y el gran José María Velasco. En 1868 publicó su Excursión a la caverna de Cacahuamilpa, y en 1866 Cimientos del artista dibujante y pintor y otro en 1867 sobre la pintura general o de paisaje y la perspectiva en la Academia Nacional de San Carlos; además de que ejecutó maravillosos lienzos durante su estancia en nuestro país.
