Dimensions, framed: 25.5 x 38 cm Good condition This little work by Konstantin Lange is a glossy photograph painted over with opaque colour. The work depicts the view from a car onto a busy junction. The artist has painted the scene with small energetic brush strokes so that only silhouettes can be discerned. Some colour fields seem almost abstract. The work is defined by this dynamism of the brushwork, which characterises all of Lange's works. The work by Konstantin Lange is in good condition with minor scratches and minimal loss of colour. The paper is mounted on board, along the left margin it has come a little loose. It is monogrammed lower right 'K. L.'. The dimensions are 25.5 x 38 cm. (tfa) Konstantin Lange (b. 1962) Konstantin Lange was born in Hilden in 1962. He first completed a teaching degree at the University of Münster. Between 1984 and 1988, he studied sculpture at the Art Academy in Dusseldorf. In 1991 he studied at the Parsons School of Research in New York. Since 1986, Lange regularly exhibited his works in Germany and abroad and has been honoured with various awards.
