The folksy narrative (purportedly commissioned by Leona Helmsley for her Pittsburgh home) depicts activities in the 'Steel City': Sports, Industry, Outdoor Pursuits, the Arts, Suburbs, Circus Parade, more; with University of Pennsylvania building upper right. Airplanes and Hot Air Balloon fly above, highways carry heavy traffic, trains cross trestles, many figures sprinkled throughout. Two outside panels are 72" x 66", center panel is 72" x 42".
