(DANIEL WEBSTER) A stunning and fairly mezzotint engraving titled, "Daniel Webster", 20" x 30" after an 1844 painting by THOMAS BAYLEY LAWSON (1807-1888). Engraved by C. E. Wagstaff and Jos. Andrews and published in 1852 by H. Williams Jr. & F. S. Williams [of Boston]. Below copyright information is the legend "Ackerman & Co., London, Publishers." Print also bears a facsimile of Webster's signature in titling. We have seen one example sell at auction in the past 10 years. Light foxing at margins, else very good condition. Professionally matted.
