Robert Lebron Art for Sale at Auction

b. 1928 - d. 2013

Best known for its masterful use of a palette knife in his architectural landscape Impressionistic paintings, Robert Lebron’s art is highly regarded around the world. He was born in 1928, studied at the Art Students' League in New York and traveled the world early in his life, both of which had influences on his career. He was also greatly impacted by the time he spent with his fisherman cousin following an early-childhood move to Puerto Rico and listening to his tales of the sea.

Robert Lebron's paintings focus mostly on the bustling streets of New York, but his work also includes scenes from Paris, Amsterdam, and London. Many of Robert Lebron’s prints and paintings of busy cityscapes even feature a nod to Dickie Dare, a comic strip dog from his childhood. Collectors can find 20th-century Impressionist paintings online and at auction.
