        Baigneuses is an original artwork realized by the French artist Lionel Lecouteux in 1899. Original etching on paper. The original dry hallmark is on the lower right corner. This print is from an original artwork realized by Antoine Calbet. Artist's proof, before Letter. The etching is from the cachet de la "Société Française des Amis des Arts". Good conditions. Passepartout included: 51 x 64 cm. The artwork represents a bathing scene of two beautiful female figures in nature. The figures are realized with a very fresh impression and the scene is illuminated by the light of the sun. The wave of the water creates great dynamism. The style of the figures is influenced by Post-Impressionism. The artwork was realized by Lionel Lecouteux (1847 - 1909). This artist became famous for his engravings and etchings, for which he used nitric acid. 33 x 46 (foglio), 20 x 24 (image), 51 x 64 (passepartout)
