The vigorous graphics of Jean Pierre Lécuyer results from wood, his favorite material, but also from the use of all the reliefs likely to become a matrix of impression, and in particular those of the recovery which combine spontaneity, fantasy and derision ... mastery of engraving and patient work gave him this freedom. From teaching to his personal creations, the artist shows a living art that is constantly renewed. Leader of the Xylon France group, he is actually involved in an international movement which attests that an old practice can be renewed and produce works of a great modernity.
