Street artist E. Lee is the Chicago-based co-founder of Global Street Art, an online platform dedicated to cultivating and showcasing street art and graffiti. Public space serves as his chosen canvas due to its interactive nature. His street art paintings draw influence from popular culture, leaning heavily on comic book references -- especially heroes in vulnerable positions. In the artist’s own words, I like using iconic characters from popular culture because we can all connect through our shared stories.  

The most famous E. Lee painting is a Wile-E-Coyote themed mural entitled Free Bird Seed.
