      Gelatin silver print on baryta paper Germany, 1920s, Vintage Grete Leistikow (1893-1989) – German photographer On the reverse with the photographer’s stamp and the handwritten order number „299“ in pencil Sheet size: 16,7 x 21,8 cm Good condition The black and white photography by the German photographer Grete Leistikov (1893-1989) shows a view on a café named ‘Café zur Grossen Trommel’ out from a green space. Grete Leistikow designed along with her brother Hans the title pages of the magazine ‘das neue frankfurt’, founded in 1926, and worked as a freelance photographer, amongst others, for the Frankfurt urban planning authority. This gelatin silver print is on the reverse stamped with the photographer’s stamp and with the handwritten order number ‘299’ in pencil. The corners are minor damaged, the condition is good. The sheet measures 16.7 x 21.8 cm. (fea) Shipping costs excl. statutory VAT and plus 2,5% (+VAT) shipping insurance.
