This print was submitted to the 1952 juried show American Water Colors, Drawings and Prints at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (original label affixed to reverse). While this print was not chosen for inclusion by the jury, Levit's drawing Ceremony was selected. Levit s artistic output extended beyond his paintings into design and illustration. His work has been exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Fine Art, The Whitney Museum of American Art and the Chicago Institute of Fine Art.
