Even treatment of an Irregular Surface' signed, titled and dated 2002 (on the reverse) fiberglass, pigment and foam, 101x81 cm Provenance: Galerie Tanya Rumpff, Haarlem, acquired in 2003. Exhibited: Stedelijk Museum Schiedam, 'Kunst uit huis V: collectie Ron Klein Breteler', 24.5 - 23.8.2009. David Lindberg's work is characterised by his experimental use of modern, industrial produced materials (such as epoxy, glass/carbon fiber, rigid foam-combined with paper, oil paints and pigments). The materials are easily modelled and ductile and give Lindberg the possibility of changing aim and exploring again and again. By his free play of materials he discovers a language of new colours, shapes, transparencies and combinations of form. (Source: Artist’s website)
