Apfelblüte auf dem Land, Aquarelle und Deckfarben auf Papier, um 1930, jeweils rechts unten signiert "R. Lipus", bei allen Aquarellen Bildpostkarte mit gleichem Motiv beigegeben, ein Blatt rückseitig mit Widmung, teils etwas gebräunt, identisch unter Passepartout und hinter Glas gerahmt, Passepartoutausschnitt ca. 20 x 27,5 cm. Künstlerinfo: dt. Maler und Zeichner (1893 Leipzig bis 1961 Leipzig), Lehre beim Verlag C. G. Röder, ab 1912 Studium an der Akademie der graphischen Künste Leipzig bei Alois Kolb, im 1. Weltkrieg als Schützengrabenzeichner tätig, Ausstellungen im Haus der Deutschen Kunst, während des 2. Weltkriegs Kriegsberichterstatter und Propagandamaler, 1943 Verlust des Ateliers und Zerstörung zahlreicher seiner Werke, nach 1945 als Buchillustrator und Pressezeichner tätig, Quellen: Thieme-Becker und Wikipedia. Lipus", all watercolours accompanied by a picture postcard with the same motif, one sheet with dedication on the reverse, partly a little bit browned, identically framed under passepartout and behind glass, passepartout approx. 20 x 27,5 cm. Artist's info: German painter and draughtsman (1893 Leipzig to 1961 Leipzig), apprenticeship at the publishing house C. G. Röder, from 1912 studies at the Academy of Graphic Arts Leipzig with Alois Kolb, during World War I active as a trench draughtsman, exhibitions at the Haus der Deutschen Kunst, during World War II war correspondent and propaganda painter, 1943 loss of his studio and destruction of many of his works, after 1945 active as book illustrator and press draughtsman, sources: Thieme-Becker and Wikipedia.
