Biography

Smadar Livne, an award-winning artist born and raised in Israel, creates unique and exciting works at her 2,500 sq.ft. studio in Owings Mills, Maryland. The paintings are mixed media acrylic on canvas. Blending photography and imagination printed on canvas, subtle messages are painted into each piece and require time for observation and reflection. Her art hangs in many private homes, Jewish centers, Synagogues, and more around the world.
Educated at Haifa University in Israel, Smadar has degrees in fine art, literature, and architecture. She also continues her education in Jewish studies and philosophy. In addition to her creative work, Smadar enjoys traveling and time with family. Smadar is a wife and mother of three talented girls.
