      Charmian London (American, 1871 to 1955). "Jack London" Vols. 1 and 2. Both 1st British Ed. London: Mills and Boon, Limited, 1921 CE. Vol. 1: 405 pp. Vol. 2: 418 pp. with 12 pp. of advertisements. Both in original navy cloth with gilt lettering; "Our Hawaii" 2nd Ed. New York: The MacMillan Company, 1922 CE. 427 pp. Original navy cloth with black and gilt lettering. A wonderful trio of books penned by Charmian London detailing her life with and the life of her husband Jack London (American, 1876 to 1916), all published after his death. The first 2 are first editions of volumes 1 and 2 of "Jack London," published in 1921 by Mills and Boon, Limited. Bot Size: 6" L x 2" W x 9" H (15.2 cm x 5.1 cm x 22.9 cm) Born John Griffith Chaney, Jack London was an American novelist, journalist, and social activist who became one of the first American authors to gain international celebrity status. Considered an innovator of science fiction, London was a passionate advocate of unionization, workers' rights, and socialism. He is most famous for writing "The Call of the Wild" and "White Fang," both set in the Klondike Gold Rush which London joined at the age of 21 in 1897.
