      View of small boats; possibly Venice. Oil on board. Signed Alma Royer Lorraine lower right. Light water drip discoloration line and impressed line lower left side. Gilded plaster and carved wood frame. Lorraine (1858-1952), born in Ohio, was active/ lived in Washington. She studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and in Paris at the Academy Julian. She exhibited at the Panama-Pacific Exposition in 1915 in San Francisco. Board 17" x 26". Frame 21.5" x 30.5".
