McGibbney "Young Mother and Child", which is featured on page 45 of Arizona Highways Turquoise Blue Book, and is accompanied with a copy of the magazine. Hans Luetcke was born in Cologne, Germany in 1925, and emigrated to the United States in 1957. After a brief stay on the East Coast, he moved to Pacific Palisades, California and remained there for many years. Luetcke studied for eight semesters at the Werkkunstschule Wuppertal, Germany, and made many trips to Switzerland, Belgium, France, Italy and Sicily for art studies. After arriving in the U.S., he made extensive studies of the American Indian in various States best known for Indian background. Artist: Hans P.
