          LUMMIS, CHARLES (1859-1928) Album titled "Picturesque New Mexico," with 95 cyanotypes as well as a note and self-portrait from Lummis addressed to "My dear Saint." Comprised of portraits of Southwestern American Indians as well as majestic views of their dwellings and surroundings. Images of Isleta, Acoma, Santa Clara, Taos, Laguna, Zuni, Pu-Yé, and San Felipe pueblos as well as the Pa-tol stick game and ritual dances. Cyanotypes sized 4 3/8x6 7/8 inches (11.1x17.5 cm.), and the reverse, with a combination of Lummis's credit, date, inventory number, or a caption, in the negative. Oblong 12mo, gilt-lettered red leather, lightly worn; all edges gilt. 1889-1891
