Der Dampfer "Loo Sok" der ostasiatischen Küstenschifffahrt mit Flagge des Kaiserreichs und dem blauen Anker des Norddeutschen Lloyd ist meisterhaft im traditionellen Stil und in der alten Hinterglas-Technik gemalt wie die Vorbilder der Zeit um 1900. Uwe Lütgen fuhr zunächst zur See, bevor er sich auf die Malerei verlegte. Er ist einer der renommiertesten zeitgenössischen Marinemaler. U. l. spiegelverkehrt sign. und dat. (20)02.
