    Bishamonten - God of Warriors and Treasure. Signed, Dated 1967 and limited edition 19/50 “Bishamonten". A traditional, front gate surrounded by old, earthen walls with tiled roofs. A red paper lantern, hung from the ceiling, reads “Bishamonten”. He is one of The Seven Lucky Gods and also the patron of the warriors. He is usually depicted in full armor and weapons, sometimes holds a small house, which he guards. He was born in Hakodate on the island of Hokkaido, Japan. In 1923 Maeda met Hiratsuka Un'ichi, a leader of the sosaku-hanga "creative prints" movement. Overall Size: 23 1/4 x 28 1/8 in. Sight Size: 15 3/4 x 20 1/2 in. #1148 Location E
