          George McMANUS

          Est: €2,000 - €4,000

George McMANUS Their Only Child Is it possible that he needed a spanking? Elle fut rebaptisée Their Only Child en 1912, lorsque McManus fut embauché par un journal concurrent, The New York American. Snookums, le bébé capricieux que ses parents adorent, apparaît en 1907: « The baby, while essentially a comic baby, has, as he pictures it, all the cunningness and charm of the real article, and all the faults which make the real baby so aggravating » (présentation de l’éditeur). 56 × 41 cm.

Geo McManus a incontestablement influencé Hergé.
