Mercie" and underneath head of Goliath "635 F. Barbedienne Fondeur Paris." With A Collas Brevete Reduction Mecanique pastille. Size: 29" Height Weight: 29 pounds Condition: Good. History: Marius Jean Antonin Mercié (October 30, 1845 â€" December 13, 1916, Paris), was a French sculptor and painter. The bronze sculpture "David apres le Combat," meaning, "David after battle," was one of his most popular works.
