        Est: €4,000 - €6,000

        signed and dated center right: Molinari de[l;] / 1815 Constantine Ypsilantis (1760-1816), was Grand Dragoman (interpreter) of the Porte between 1796 and 1799, hospodar(ruler)of Moldavia and subsequently of Walachia. He took part in the Russo-Turkish War (1806) fighting alongside the Russians. He finally settled in Kiev where he died. His sons were Alexandros Ypsilantis (1796-1828), leader of the Filiki Eteria, Dimitrios Ypsilantis (1793-1832), freedom fighter and member of the Filiki Eteria, and Nikolaos Ypsilantis (1796-1833), leader of the Sacred Band.
